Junction View is a navigational aid that displays the appropriate lane you should be driving in while in an active route. Junction View is not available in all areas and can be found on many intersecting interstates in major metropolitan areas. The Junction View image will automatically display on the map screen for approximately 10 seconds when you are less than a mile from that particular junction.

Junction View es una ayuda de navegación que muestra el carril apropiado al que debe conducir mientras está en una ruta activa. Junction View no está disponible en todas las áreas, pero puede encontrarse en muchas carreteras interestatales que se cruzan en las áreas principales metropolitanas. La imagen de Junction View se mostrará automáticamente en la pantalla del mapa durante aproximadamente 10 segundos cuando se encuentre a menos de 2km de ese cruce particular.

The space problem occurs on devices of some antiquity and that already begin to accuse problems of space since the maps are getting heavier and the capacity of the devices is same, as well as the maximum size of the memory cards that can support that it is limited to the hardware that existed at the time of manufacture.

In order to get more space available in the unit we get rid of the «not necessary» files for GPS operation, so we can put bigger maps. As an example, I’ll use a factory-restored Nüvi 1300 from an integral backup that I made shortly after receiving it, so it will be exactly as you would have it without customizations or changes.

El problema del espacio se da en las unidades de cierta antigüedad y que ya empiezan a acusar problemas de espacio ya que los mapas cada vez pesan mas y la capacidad de la unidad es la misma, así como el tamaño máximo de las tarjetas de memoria que puede soportar que se limita al hardware que existía en el momento de fabricación.

Para conseguir mas espacio disponible en la unidad nos deshacemos de los archivos «no necesarios» para el funcionamiento del GPS, así podemos meter mapas mas grandes. Como ejemplo usaré una unidad Nüvi 1300 restaurada de fabrica a partir de un backup integral que hice al poco de recibirla, así estará tal como la tenderéis sin personalizaciones ni cambios.
